A central monitoring station (Hypervisor VI) and six MEC 1000 multi-parameter monitors were recently installed into the Children’s ward of Craigavon Area Hospital. MDI staff trained all ward staff on using the machines as seen in the photo to the left. The MEC 1000 is suitable for adult, paediatric and neonates, parameters of the MEC 1000 include: ECG/Resp, NIBP,Temp, SpO2, 10-alarm, networking, 10.4” colour display (4 waveforms), optional recorder and removable battery.
